Seasonal Herb Garden Soap

When aligning with my personal theme to utilize the gifts that Gaia gives us as they are offered, this will be one of my rotating soaps that focuses on seasonal herbs: whether foraged or garden-grown, when truly noting the rhythm of each season within the life cycle of plants, we begin to understand what true abundance surrounds us at every turn. For example, just as the nettle and cleavers are foraged, yarrow, St. John's Wort and goldenrod are available to process and enjoy. It's almost like it was Divinely planned!

This bar is inspired by the herbs I bought at the first seasonal farmer's market from a local herb farm. They offered gorgeous bouquets of flowered sage and fragrant rosemary, alongside an herbalist staple of fresh stinging nettle. I infused these fresh herbs into my oils and potent tea infusion to layer the oil and water soluble medicinal qualities. I used spirulina, green Brazilian clay and zinc oxide for natural pigments and additionally ground up dried nettle and rosemary for an herbal texture within the bar. I scented her with rosemary, peppermint and camphor essential oils and topped the bar with dried rosemary and sage flowers from my farmer's market haul. This bar is FRESH, igniting and feels like dancing with Gaia in a field of aromatics she grew just for you.

All ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible. Used herbs are offered back to Gaia as an offering of gratitude.

Ingredients: avocado oil, shea butter, coconut oil, caster oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide (lye) sage, rosemary, nettle, green Brazilian clay, spirulina, zinc oxide, rosemary EO, peppermint EO, camphor EO.
