Anointing Oil

When I was a counselor, I found myself needing to clear my field after working with people who had shared their deepest traumas with me. I naturally transmute darkness around me, but that's not to say that it doesn't take a toll. I'm sure all of us can relate to that, even if it's just a simple trip to Costco. There can be a residue left of the "world" that you just want to clear. Between sessions I would clear my field with a quick vinyasa in my small space, a tuning fork set to the heart, and some frankincense essential oil. All of these are amazing for clearing the field. 

Within my last two years of initiation into herbalism, I was also introduced to a wonderful source for my frankincense resin from The Smokewalkers. They are excellent stewards of this gift from Gaia and they are dedicated to replanting and ethically sourcing this sacred resin from Oman. A more rare frankincense of their offerings is orange sacra. It smells a bit fruitier and due to its rarity, I chose to make this into an anointing oil with organic jojoba, infusing the resin on low heat for several days until its potency was perfected.

I use this as a clearing for my field before/after being in crowded public spaces, or before bed/meditation. I put a dab on my third eye, crown, back of my neck and both of my palms. I also sometimes use it as a face oil after a ceremonial bath. I even keep a bottle in my car to clear my vibes from unexpected 3D interactions. I can't even describe how incredible this smells. Even if you don't navigate much in the "woo" world, you have to admit this oil smells like heaven.
