Reality Bites Soap

This bar was inspired by my favorite 90's movie, Reality Bites. There is a scene in which Lelaina and Troy (Winona Ryder and Ethan Hawke) are going on a walk while drinking coffee and sharing a cigarette. They reflect on the joy they both find in this simple moment, stating that this is all they need: "You, me, and five bucks." Of course Troy makes it weird by kissing her after, but this pretty much sums up my late adolescence. The smells of coffee and tobacco, aside themes of good music and scrounging up rent money with marginal success. 

I had to bouge up the vibe a bit with some vanilla bean and goat milk, but the notes of infused tobacco and coffee with activated charcoal bring together this moment in time with a fondness that I'm so thankful I was able to capture. I will always honor my past, as it carried me to this perfect present moment.

All ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible. Used herbs are offered back to Gaia as an offering of gratitude.
