Idaho Sasquatch Soap (Boise River Edition)

I have a very close relationship with Sasquatch. After years of gridworking the land to heal Gaia across the country, I found a gentle kindness in the energy of Sasquatch as he introduced himself to me in the Redwood Forest in Northern California and continued to leave his mark in my path for years following. Ironically, my dad worked for the Bureau of Land Management for his career and was in charge of.... managing the land. This is exactly what Sasquatch does. Checking in with the plants, elementals, critter habitats and mycelium on the daily, much like the old guy in your neighborhood obsessed with his perfectly placed sprinklers or the fruit trees being  pruned in a timely fashion. It's the Divine Masculine energy of "the steward of the land." This is sacred stuff! I had to make a bar as a nod to my friend, Sasquatch. 

This bar is infused with spring foraged cottonwood bud resin, ponderosa pine resin, and usnea lichen. I also added green clay, activated charcoal and the essential oils of juniper berry, black spruce and bergamot. This bar smells like "man" and  "forest," which is EXACTLY what I was going for. This bar is seasonal (until my resin infusions run out) and I will get to discover new expressions of Sasquatch for the next iteration of the soap! This is a perfect bar to celebrate the Divine Masculine.

All ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible. Used herbs are offered back to Gaia as an offering of gratitude.
