There are so many gifts in the herbal world. I'm genuinely thankful that although I didn't discover the magic of herbalism until I was 47, I have been able to receive these gifts in a way that has been utterly life-changing. This tincture offers one of the greatest powerhouses in herbalism, stinging nettle. While this herb is jam packed with nutrients for the body as a natural supplement in tincture, broth, infusion or capsule, this tincture is going to be focusing on how it treats histamine in the body. Histamine is of course what offers us an unrelenting phlegmy symphony of symptoms we could happily do without. Nettle works to block histamine and inflammatory receptors in the body. This is extremely helpful for allergies and for those struggling with mild histamine intolerance (though for MCAS, larger interventions are needed) and perimenopause. Nettle is coupled with the herb goldenrod as a dynamic duo to  act as a natural decongestant, antihistamine and anti-inflammatory agent. This herb is not mood altering and acts like a supplement in the body. If you begin taking this a couple weeks before your allergies begin to act up, you will notice the difference immediately. I take this on the regular during allergy season and with any histamine issue. This is a fantastic standard to have on hand.
