Kundalini Soap

This inspiration for this bar came in a meditation. I was thinking about how each bar I make that has herbs infused in it carries the frequency of that herb to be used as an alchemical ceremony for the person using the soap. Whether for my dandelion detox soap to cleanse the body of junky energy with holy resins and clearing herbs, this bar holds the frequency of life force creation, sensuality and a balance of masculine and feminine properties. 

I infused the oils with Ashwagandha (masculine life force), hawthorn berry and rose hips (heart), and added a compote made of red wine and fresh bing cherries (sensuality). It has the cleansing properties of activated charcoal (kundalini fire) with Moroccan red clay (grounding) and decorated it with freeze dried cherries and dehydrated edible flowers from the farmers market. It's also topped with gold leaf (the alchemical transformation of lead to gold). I scented it with cedar wood (masculine) and Rose absolute (feminine). 

This bar is intended to be a ceremony for the self. Decadence, balance, and potent life force. Kundalini is our god-spark self that exists within all of us, that once awakened, burns down anything that isn't in alignment for our highest self. While everyone's journey is uniquely designed to unlock awakening in its perfect timing, we can all focus on balancing our masculine and feminine energies within. We can all honor the life force within us. We can all engage in ceremony with a sacred pause of reverence. 

All ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible. Used herbs are offered back to Gaia as an offering of gratitude.
