Blue Lotus Elixir 2 oz

Blue Lotus is such a special botanical. When I was beginning to put together a list of things I wanted in my apothecary, I was intent on creating something with blue lotus to be used in ceremony. I have worked with her in the past, and have found her medicine to be both potent and feminine- gentle. As an amplifier for lucid dreaming, third eye activation and ceremonial work for the Divine Feminine, I wanted to connect with the herb to ask her what she wanted to become. Tinctures are made with a high proof alcohol that alchemize over six weeks to extract the medicinal properties that can be used dropped in water for ingestion. But when I connected to blue lotus in meditation, she basically said,

 "Oh no you won't burn my petals with harsh alcohols. I'm delicate! I need to be treated gently."

Of course I listened and backed off from the idea of a tincture immediately. She went on to communicate that she wanted to be a ceremonial modality to deliver pleasure to the pallet through sweetness. Honey. She wanted the women that worked with her to feel like they had been gifted a sweet treat that isn't harsh, but elevating. Gentle. Feminine. It had to be centered around the concept of pleasure. Of course, I would have to use alcohol to preserve and extract the compounds so we negotiated and settled on a lower alcohol content locally distilled huckleberry vodka with local honey and I added a percentage of high proof alcohol to hit the delivery and shelf stability sweet-spot after the extraction was complete. This was a co-creation and an absolutely beautiful experience. 

Blue lotus was historically used in ancient Egyptian initiatory rites for the priestesses to elevate communication between the realms and align fully with the stillness that is required by the lotus in order to bloom, as does the Divine Feminine in her own becoming. I have absolutely loved working intentionally with this elixir before meditation, bath, or bedtime to elevate the communication between my guides and myself. I also find that my dream recall is increased with its use as well. The essence of this herb was so perfectly aligned when stating that pleasure has to be a component to this work because I truly look forward to my communion with her and the sweet elixir as it hits my tongue. I love working with her and hope you do too as you feel called. 

Blue lotus is not mood altering and does not create impairment of function. I find that she simply adds expansion to your current state of being. For those who have an open third eye, your visions will be even more colorful and interdimentional. The communication lines with other realms becomes more crisp, like a tuned in radio station. It is all based on where you are at, and won't bypass any process that is needed for your own path. I also created a "Seer Soap" that was infused with all the herbs that elevate clair-gifts (including blue lotus) and consider them great companions for a ceremonial bath.
