Awakening Soap

This soap was the answer to my question, "Where do I put nettle in my collection?" As every herbalist knows, nettle is a star herb. While it stings in the wild (hence the name stinging nettle), when it's ingested in an infusion, broth or tincture- it's a "super herb" full of minerals to edify the body. When used topically in skincare, it hydrates and nourishes the skin with a slew of vitamins A, B, D and C. I chose to infuse the oils and waters with nettle, peppermint and eucalyptus. These herbs were also ground into a powder to add a beautiful speckled appearance to the bar. Natural colorants of spirulina and green Brazilian clay were used for the beautiful multi-tone design and the essential oils used are lime, eucalyptus, and peppermint. This soap smells like the effervescence of life, waking you up to whatever adventures are awaiting you.

All ingredients are organic and locally sourced when possible. Used herbs are offered back to Gaia as an offering of gratitude.

Ingredients: olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, caster oil, sodium hydroxide (lye), distilled water, nettle leaf, peppermint, eucalyptus, dried lime, turmeric, spirulina, green Brazilian clay, lime EO, eucalyptus EO, peppermint EO.
